When will my dog get his leash?

Dogs are not allowed on leash in restaurants and bars in Washington State, but a new law would allow pets on restaurant tables.
The Washington State Legislature passed a bill on Wednesday that would allow owners to bring their pets into restaurants and bar patios.
The bill also makes it easier for the dog owner to request a dog leash.
Under the law, owners can take their pet on leash for a short leash and let the dog go as long as the dog is in a “normal, well-behaved” situation.
Dogs on the leash are also not allowed to walk in a public park.
The legislation also allows owners to take their pets out of a park to a safe area.
It is unclear whether the dogs will be allowed on the patio of restaurants or bars.
If so, the Washington State Department of Agriculture could require restaurants to put up signs and provide warning labels about dogs on the premises.
The bill would also allow bars to put signs up indicating that dogs on their premises are not welcome.
